Coronation Street goes vintage chic!

It's been a busy press month here at Vivien of Holloway. This time it's the turn of one of our most beloved actresses in one of our top soaps, as Catherine Tyldesley got dressed up to the nines in one of our Halterneck Circle dresses in a Grease-themed charity ball at the Manchester Palace Hotel last weekend. We think she looked amazing!

29-year old Catherine, who plays a character called Eva Price wore our red polka dot Halterneck Circle Dress with a 2-inch white cinch belt. To recreate her glamorous 1950s look, just hop along to our webshop, but don't forget to finish off the look with a full vintage-style petticoat... or two!

Rita Hayworth meets Vivien of Holloway

Vivien of Holloway has got together with the one and only BFI to launch a competition around their forthcoming Rita Hayworth season.

Rita Hayworth was a silver screen goddess of the highest order, famed as much for her acting talent as her astounding beauty. We're big fans of her brilliant films... as well as the amazing costumes she often wore. The BFI is showing an array of her finest work throughout June – from the noir Gilda to the colourful Cover Girl, and we at Vivien of Holloway have partnered up to offer THREE of our lucky readers a pair of tickets to the film showing of their choice.





All you have to do is answer these three simple questions:

The Red Rose Jezebel Returns!

You may recall a couple of weeks back Miss Kelly Brook stepped out looking absolutely gorgeous in Vivien of Holloway! She was seen in the Daily Mail looking like a movie star in her floral frock.


The style in question was our Jezebel Wrap Dress in a beautifully vintage red and white rose print. It sold out thanks to the press coverage but we have some great news for you -  it is now back in stock!

Jezebel is big on wiggles, it's just the ticket to take you through from day to night. Kelly looks like she's on her way to a meeting, but she could just as easily be off out to afternoon tea or a soirée.

Make sure if you want to own one of these lovely dresses that you snap one up right away as we know they won't stay in stock for long.

If you would prefer a strappy alternative or, for a completely different look, a full swing skirt, we have plenty of other options in this beautiful fabric.

If you must have the print and love the wrap style but aren't a fan of the tight wiggle skirt, then our full-skirted Grace Dress in red rose is a fab alternative. Our Halterneck Pencil Dress also gives good wiggle but leaves your shoulders exposed. Last but by no means least, our Halterneck Circle Dress is the best of both worlds!

- Be informed. We use vintage sizing so ask our girls to measure you if you're unsure.

Friends might even share changing rooms to get more trying on time!
